The blind princess.

I was born and raised in Miami, Fl but later kicked out of the state for my less than desirable behavior. My mother and I moved to Maryland around my 14th birthday. Things gradually became better.

Before our move, my fascination with computers was always great. I already had a pretty good understanding of how computers and Photoshop worked at the age of 12.

During my college years in northern Maryland, i studied to become a graphic designer in hopes to create innovating logos and web sites for major companies or small businesses.

This was just a phase. I became interested in the world of photography during my career as an analyst for a private company that serviced state prisons and their incarcerated residents.

I needed something to keep my sanity. The hours at my job were long, the work repetitive and the pay was low of course. Photography brought about a new meaning into my life.

I have invested 8 years of my into the art of photography. The journey has been great and terrible at times but no matter what, I could never shake the urge to continue. I enjoy manipulating light, subjects and peeking their beauty through post processing. The smiles that accompany the well earned "thank you" and "your'e amazing" fills me with a sense of purpose.

Purpose and happiness is what we all need in this life, right? Photography fills me with bot. Weather times get easier or almost unbearable, I will continue to push to become a master and produce works to the best of my ability in order to obtain happiness and/or give happiness to others.
