ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The work represents 33 moments of the erotic life of an observer poised between fantasy and reality, a collector of memories that acquires his past, makes it his own and devours it to fulfill a process of purification, a rebirth to the new, where the new is a ghost, or rather a gallery of ghosts imprisoned in the contemporary world, like all of us who, unknowingly, cross this contemporaneity. In this work, these ghosts - stripped of their social role and rendered, so to speak, again and clearly human - are represented in images with a dark and seductive sensuality, in balance between eros and thanatos, overturned by the artist's mental space to the materiality of the gallery where art is confused with biography and biography with art.

AUTHOR
Eduardo Fiorito was born in Naples in 1977. In his professional path, he dedicated himself to theatre and multimedia, video-art and photography, working in Italy, Russia, Brazil, Egypt, Malta Repubblic and Croatia, exposing in public and private Institutions, art galleries, universities and museums. His photos have been published by Corriere della Sera, Repubblica, Il Tempo, Il Messaggero. Lepisma Edizioni published “Magia” in 2014, monography about Eduardo Fiorito’s work. Rai Arte, in June 2015, dedicated “L’Arcadia dietro la nebbia” to Eduardo Fiorito’s photography. IED – European Istitute of Design invited him in 2014 for a lecture on his work. In April 2015 was at National Resarch University – Higher School of Economics and Faculty of Comunications, Media and Design in Moscow (Russia) for his solo exhibit “Aenigma”.
