Portrait: Honorable Mention 2018 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The identification and expulsion centers (CIE) are structures provided by Italian law established to detain foreigners "subject to deportation or refoulement measures with coercive accompaniment at the border" in the event that the provision is not immediately executable. To date, prisoners in CIEs are not considered inmates, and are normally referred to as "guests" of the structure.
In the picture : Joshua Francis, nigeria, in the Cie of Rome - Pote Galeria - arrested in Ferrara in 2014, calls his wife.
My goal is find money to finance and find out where Joshua is now and continue to tell his story after been arrested and deported. I feel this important to try to sensibilize an italian public opinion every day more and more intollerant.
