Wildlife: Honorable Mention 2018 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A humpback whale mother tries to bring her calf to the surface in order to breathe but he does only what he pleases!
Humpback whales migrate from polar waters to tropical ones, here from Antarctica to Tahiti where this picture has been taken. When the calf will be enough strong, they'll take the way back but the road is long and dangerous, as many predators like orcas can attack and kill the baby.
AUTHOR
I began photography 3 years ago with northern lights and landscapes. But my favorite thing to do is underwater photography, which combine my passion for marine environment and camera. There's nothing more beautiful than nature so I try to give it justice.
