Wildlife: Honorable Mention 2018 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I was admiring the behavior of this milky stork cleaning itself after a heavy downpour. Alternatively, the bird would pause for a few seconds and focus on a selected area of its skin to be cleaned thoroughly. At this point, the stork resembles a taxidermy. I took this shot under a moody light and dark background to represent all preserved extinct animals in museums today. Only difference, this one here is still alive and well.
