ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The MoMA in New York City is one of my favorite museums, which I have explored many times. This day, as I was taking a short break from artworks, I found even more modern art. This shot was taken from just inside the door to the men's bathroom. The way the geometric patterns of the tiled floor and walls fit perfectly against the right side wall and ceiling leaves the viewer confused. At the top of the image it's hard to make heads or tails of what these shapes are. As the eye travels downwards it becomes clear that what we're looking at is simply a wall. Even still, upon moving the eye back upwards, the optical illusion remains.
