ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Luster was created to encapsulate the feeling that we get from looking at beautiful things, particularly consumer goods that signify wealth and grandeur. There is really no purpose for wanting to express these emotions other than the fact that I think it is fun to experience them. There is something wonderful about seeing lavish things, because they make you feel as if you could be beautiful too. Abstract art is a great tool for expressing complex abstract experiences like emotions, and I think the point of most abstract art is to make viewers experience feelings. As an amateur, I have enjoyed learning about how abstract art can be portrayed through photography.
