Architecture: Honorable Mention 2019 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris from the Palais de Chaillot. Capturing this view was the main reason for going to Paris with my daughter. Sightseeing and photographing the city together was on my bucket list for quite some time.
We originally planned to be here at 5 am to capture the place without people, but as she is only 8 years old and we stayed up very late the evening before. I decided to let her sleep and go into the city at 8am.
People already started to walk around on the square and by using a long exposure you can see them as ghosts in the photo. As I wanted to create more depth in the photo, I edited the contrasts in the sides of the image.
AUTHOR
educated as a pilot but creativity in photography is the biggest drive in my life.
Capturing architecture and creating fine-art is what really makes me happy. I want to share how I see the world around me, hoping you can see your surroundings in a different way.
