ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Chongqing Grand Theatre, set to be one of China’s top 3 theatres, it is completed in 2009. With seven ground floors and two underground floors, the Theatre has a floor area of 100,300 square meters. Chongqing Grand Theatre with “Sails Lost in Boundless Sky” as its design theme selects light green glass as fa.ade building materials, making the appearance of the Theatre just like a “glass spaceship” and implying “journey from the past to the future”. Since 2009, Chongqing Grand theater has hosted a number of international operas, ballets, symphonies, ballets, musicals, and other performances.
