ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The preface to Lanting written by Wang Xizhi, the Chinese calligrapher, for a gathering of literati and scholars, is known as "the first running script in the world". I use water to write the article "preface to Lanting" on the photo paper and expose it. The photos I have developed are like the texture of ancient inscriptions with the fluidity of light.
