ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I took this photograph on a hotel rooftop in Belize some years ago. Poorly stored, the slide was damaged, but when I rediscovered it, it spoke the same poetry that I felt at the time: the waiting white-on-white chairs against the grounded stucco walls, and the sure-to-come flight of the long-tailed blackbirds. Fly blackbirds fly.
