Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2019 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I took this photo of Mayon Volcano on December 13, 2006, just days after a Category 4 super typhoon (Reming/Durian) devastated the province of Albay, in the Philippines. It resulted in the loss of about 1,500 lives. The photo is a stark reminder of how beautiful nature can be and how unforgiving it can be at the same time.
