Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2019 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo was taken in July, 2018, when I joined a safari tour group in Maasai Mara National Reserve of Kenya. It was a beautiful day, sunny and with light breeze. I stood in the safari jeep, and was enjoying the freedom atmosphere of Africa open fields. I saw a single tree with gentle slope hills behind. Without hesitate, I took this picture.
AUTHOR
I am retired from my career, and now a phograph. I spend most of my time in traveling, photographing, and editing the photos. Also, I participate many international photo contests recently. I have earned many awards, but I know I still have long way to go for higher achievements. Now, I am a member of PSA and GPU, not having any distinction or honor yet. I am working on accumulating enough quantity of awards for applying honors. I hope I can reach that in 2019.
This is the first time I enroll MonoAwards to contest, although monochrome photos are my favorite way to express my sense of beauty. I know this is one of the ways to learn. I want to open my eyes on those photos from the winners of international contests and exhibitions.
