Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2019 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo was taken at the peak of Xiang-Gong-Shan, China, in October of 2018. As River Li wriggles through the karst hills, the scene here becomes the most famous tourists' destination. When the hazy morning fog lightly fill in the air and the sun rises behind the hills, the light and shadow become the main rhythm of the landscape beauty.
AUTHOR
I am retired from my career, and now a phograph. I spend most of my time in traveling, photographing, and editing the photos. Also, I participate many international photo contests recently. I have earned many awards, but I know I still have long way to go for higher achievements. Now, I am a member of PSA and GPU, not having any distinction or honor yet. I am working on accumulating enough quantity of awards for applying honors. I hope I can reach that in 2019.
This is the first time I enroll MonoAwards to contest, although monochrome photos are my favorite way to express my sense of beauty. I know this is one of the ways to learn. I want to open my eyes on those photos from the winners of international contests and exhibitions.
