ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Walking on ice, with meters of cold, cold water beneath. With trust that nature is predictable. Is it? Photo taken not that far away - anyway for me of course. Poland, "Mazury" region, frozen lake, long cold winter.
AUTHOR
I'm an amateur photographer, living in Warsaw Poland. Sometimes a bit ignorant and always optimistic :). Few years ago I started to focus on photography a bit more than before and justwalking.org came to life. This is a site that let's me understand and structurize my thoughts on values and my approach to taking photos.
On the one hand, I concentrate on reportage, which I try to learn from my own mistakes. I love to enter visited places as deeply as possible, in a very short time, often abandoning the beaten paths for the alleys, city outskirts, etc. Also in this reportage approach, I take photos more closely related to people I know trying to show a little more intimacy of the moments. On the other hand, he also try to create my first more artistic series "Emanations", focusing mainly on showing the wilderness as a place full of unobvious creatures, requiring us to look from a different angle, at a specific moment in order to be able to notice them.
What else do I love? - natural light, no preparation, raw & lightroom workflow, primes and handheld shooting.
