::> A vision based on iTALO cALVINO book, "Invisible Cities". The proposed series of images follows a thin line of understanding and interpreting the cities described in Clavino's book.
::> "The book explores imagination and the imaginable through the descriptions of cities by an explorer, Marco Polo. The book is framed as a conversation between the aging and busy emperor Kublai Khan, who constantly has merchants coming to describe the state of his expanding and vast empire, and Polo. The majority of the book consists of brief prose poems describing 55 fictitious cities that are narrated by Polo, many of which can be read as parables or meditations on culture, language, time, memory, death, or the general nature of human experience."

AUTHOR
"Alexandru Crisan (b. Bucharest, Romania 1978) is a visual artist specialized in fine art photography. He received his first film camera when he was 12 years old, and, a quarter of a century later, still has a soft spot for the black and white prints. An architect by formal education, his professional career in photography began in 2011 and since then, he has focused on completing and promoting his eclectic art projects.
