Photomanipulation: Honorable Mention 2019 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Series "blurry trees": It is all about the interplay of light and dark surfaces in abstract forest sceneries, creating poetic moods around the artist’s favorite subject – trees.
Inspired by multiple exposure photography techniques Thomas Finkler started – since 2018 – to combine these blurred sceneries with abstract surfaces and patterns of grasses swaying in the wind. Grasses are also part of the woods and always found at the edge of the forest. Two poetic pieces of nature merging into one composition.
