Young Tamberma man, Benin. by RAUL CACHO OSES (Spain)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This picture was takein in Togo during a visit to the ethnic group of the Tamberma (They are known as the Betamaribe, in Togo they are called Tamberma and in Benin, the Somba).
Inside a Tata house, in the kitchen I photographed Jon, who in the photo is lighting the pipe, with which I made a series of portraits.
Their houses are called Tata, and they have two floors and are made of adobe. They are castle houses designed to protect human beings and animals. On the walls there is always a hole to see The Valley and to be able to shoot the enemy.
