ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photo of the man sitting in front of the sign signifying that he was a tailer was taken in Luxor, Egypt. I was walking down the street just looking around and loved the juxtaposition of the signs and the way he was seated. The photo was taken with my Hasselblad 503 camera.
AUTHOR
Larry Snider has been making photographs around the world for thirty years, documenting the people and landscape of a particular region. With each photograph, he creates a particular connection with that place and its culture. He has had numerous exhibitions and his work is in the permanent collection of over fifteen museums, among them the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Contemporary Photography, and the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, Arizona.
