ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This dancer is demonstrating her joy in movement. She is dancing here for sheer pleasure, painting lovely images with her body. And as the photographer, I try to catch both the visual and emotional parts of her work and share them with you.

AUTHOR
People fascinate me. I am curious about how they think and feel, live and work, and relate to the world around them. For many years I worked as a psychotherapist, using words to help people deal with their emotions, relationships, and traumas.

Since becoming a photographer, my vocabulary has changed from the verbal to the visual. I focus on how people use physicality to communicate and tell their story. I try to draw out their narratives - and document and capture with my camera, what their bodies are telling us.

Taking photographs allows me to connect with people and the world around me, and to share that connection in a very tangible way. I find this process deeply satisfying and endlessly intriguing.
