ENTRY DESCRIPTION
During the middle of the day Uda Walawe National Park becomes blisteringly hot. We rested next to one of the beautiful lakes with dead trees sticking out of the water and an abundance of birdlife. It was very warm and most animals were hiding from the sun or sleeping. Suddenly two egrets flew up in the air fighting with each other. Before we knew it the moment was over, but this photo managed to capture the drama.
