ENTRY DESCRIPTION
While photographing bears in the Alligator River Nature Reserve in North Carolina came across this Barred Owl. It had a keen focus on the stream where it was catching crayfish, which allowed me to capture this unique compisition as what I would describe as almost human like composure of the owl in the stream. I like the way it captures the pose and the sense of place.
