I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time when this new borne Hump Back Whale calf dived to return to its mother 20m below.

It presented perfectly, diving down vertically disappearing into the depths below.

Captured in the world renowned blue waters Vava'u Tonga.

A 25 year old Australian who has a strong love for the ocean and the endless surprises it holds. After buying my first camera 4 years ago, it wasn't long before I set out to encapsulate my new pride and joy in a water tight housing so as I could capture some of the beautiful things I was seeing below the surface to share with others.
