ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Elephant Bluff - A bull elephant stakes his territorial claim in Amboseli National Park, Kenya. Amboseli National Park in Kenya is home to an abundant population of large elephants and some of the last remaining great tuskers. With a year-round supply of fresh water via Lake Amboseli and a massive supply of trees in the foothills of Kilimanjaro, it’s the perfect setting to watch these great creatures make their daily trek from the foothills to the water in the morning and then back again in the evening.
AUTHOR
Jim is a self-taught photographer who began exploring photography in 2007 as entertainment on weekends during long business trips to Europe and Asia. Jim ventured deeper into photography after retiring and continues to hone his craft on the local area's scenic vistas and through an active travel schedule. Jim’s priority is collecting images from around the world, intended to stir awareness and offer glimpses of elements in nature and distant cultures that are rapidly changing, and in some cases at risk of disappearing entirely.
