ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Photographing the proboscis monkeys (Nasalis larvatus) in Bako Nationalpark in Borneo in July 2018 was a very special moment. My main goal was to get a shot with the outlines of one of the males, but no male was sitting exposed and so I had to deal with the females. The females haven't got as big noses as the males but still quite prominent. At first I was thinking about a shot just in black and white but then I decided in the processing to go a bit more for the fur. The posture of this female reminds me a bit of a thinking position.
