ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I took this photo during a moody and wintry day at the Po Valley, a region which hosts a lot of species of bird, including the great egret (Ardea alba) in the photo. This pic gives a sense of peace, balance and tranquillity, the same tranquillity that the great egret lived. I love the contrast between the great egret's white and the background's black, it reminds me of the famous Yin and Yang, which is precisely a symbol of balance
