Architecture: Honorable Mention 2019 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This is the elevators shaft at "Amot Atrium" tower in Ramat-Gan, designed by Moshe Tsur Architects.
I used the repetitiveness of the elevator doors, along with the light and shadows coming through the windows to create a composition that draws the viewer into the image.
AUTHOR
Self-taught Photography artist, specializing in minimalistic and abstract views of the world around us. In my works I attempt to eliminate the minor distractions out of the visual-environmental wealth and expose the underlying building blocks of reality – The shapes, forms and colors surrounding us. This is my way of showing that all objects are created from the same basic elements. Whether its water, trees and mountains, or buildings and plowed fields, they all maintain an undeniable underlying connection, which is clearly revealed once the noise surrounding them is peeled off.
My works are characterized by high precision geometric qualities, symmetry and a flare for aesthetics. They refine the complicated world into clear shapes, forms and patterns, resulting in a thought provoking celebration for the mind and eye.
