Architecture: Honorable Mention 2019 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The 214-year-old New Point Comfort Light sits one kilometer southeast of the tip of the Middle Peninsula of Virginia in the Chesapeake Bay, a monument to the erosion which has worn away the shores of the Chesapeake for centuries. It seems likely it will not outlast this century. I captured this long exposure image in Februry of 2019 from a location only accessible by kayaking.
