Fine Art: Honorable Mention 2019 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This image was captured on the 31st of July - 2017. This is the bicycle parking sculptures in the Barcode area of Oslo in Norway. I found the bicycle sculptures interesting as a subject. Usually there are regular bicycles parked and chained to the bicycle sculptures. On this occasion I was lucky as there were no bicycles parked there. I also thought it would make a great B&W image.
AUTHOR
Hi,
I'm a Norwegian based 60 years young photographer.
Photography has become a very important aspect of my life. It has helped me see things I otherwise didn't see. To slow down and really observe the world around me. But probably the most important aspect of photography has been the inherent therapy in the act of taking pictures. Getting so involved in the act of composing a picture that I lose track of time and place. There is no stress, no worries - just photography.
