AUTHOR
I have been into photography for over 30 years, before that I was always drawing. I am self taught and the magazines I learn't from I ended up writing articles for and became the darkroom expert for Practical Photography long before digital. My passion has always been landscapes in the Scottish Highlands, I particularly enjoyed using my large format 5x4 film camera back in those days, I would make the 8 hour journey from my home 2-3 times a year and hope I had the weather and light for the brief time I was there, it would quite often end in frustration with moments of fabulous light to more than make up for it.. As of June 2017 I have now realised my dream and made the move to Scotland living in a place called Kinloch Rannoch, a beautiful part of Perthshire to concentrate on my photography full time and I will be running my own gallery starting in September in the village.
