Nature: Honorable Mention 2019 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I captured "After the Dive" at the end of a 90 minute cave dive into the Peacock Springs underwater cave system near Luraville, Florida in January 2018. The Peacock Springs caves, and hundreds more like it, feed crystal clear drinking and agricultural-use water from the Floridan Aquifer to millions of people every day. The purity of that water supply has been threatened more each day by over-pumping and inattention to conservation and replenishment.
