AUTHOR
Sam Leake is a fifth-generation native Texan, graduated from the University of Texas in 1964 with a B.A. in History, and a minor in Spanish. He spent six years in the US Marine Corps, both active and reserve, my last duty was as a helicopter mechanic and crew chief. His partner, Harryette (Ginger) Twichell, and he have 10 grandchildren between them, two rescued dogs and a twenty-one-year-old cat. Sam was a nationally ranked triathlete and cycling coach It seems that he has always had a camera in his hands regardless of the location or assignment. has entered local photography contests and been awarded best in class and several honorable mentions. He currently splits his time between Creede, Colorado, USA and Great Abaco Island, the Bahamas. Sam's photographic images are reflections of the landscapes, wildlife and the faces of these very diverse locales.
