ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Verokica was the subject that touched me the most on a personal level. Maybe because she was almost my sister’s age, maybe due to her wonderful and bright personality, maybe because she was one of the prettiest girls I’ve ever seen. Always smart and sharp, Veronika is bravely fighting a battle against addiction and dreams of recovering and getting out of the streets.
The fear of uncertainty and the hope on her eyes are a almost impossible to separate.

Pedro is creator of the project with homeless people, "Careful: Soul Inside." Pedro's body of work has received several awards over the years, and was exposed throughout the American West coast in venues such as Bowers Museum, in Anaheim, California.
