ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I am so proud of this image - the model in question is a close friend, and apparently, the future husband of my 5 year old daughter.
He take's no prisoners and is the epitomy of a tough young lad, a modern day suburban warrior, ready to take on the world... only my daughter (and her little brother) seem to be honoured with his other self – protective, kind, loving and gentle – she's probably one of the only people he wouldn't take a swing at if antagonised.

AUTHOR
I am a recently established family, maternity, child and newborn photographer, based in Cheshire (UK). I launshed my photography business in October last year.
Photographs have always had an important place in my life, but my passion for photographing began shortly after the birth of my daughter 5 years ago.
As child growing up and through to adulthood, I would delight in spend countless hours pouring over our substantial 'box' of family photographs – particularly those from my early childhood. I would revel in the memories they evoked – sights, sounds, smells, emotions. As an adult, looking back on these photographs would bring a wave of calm as I was transported back to a less complicated time, where unconditional love and carefree days were king.
I believe my obsession for documenting my children as they grow (and my passion for capturing family photographs for a living), has stemmed from the desire for my children and clients be able to do the same. I want them to beable to look back at their photographs and feel the same wave of calm, to be transported back in time by a single image, to remember the tiny details of a day that would otherwise be forgotten, to see how beautiful and strong they are and to remind them that they are forever surrounded by unconditional love.
