ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This photo was a collaboration, a long time in the making, with Aaron Koz; a skilled circus professional. He travels the world giving special classes in his specialty: aerial straps. This shot is part of a series of images taken with Aaron at React Studio and has helped me form a strong relationship with the owners and performers at React. We knew from the start of our online conversations regarding the shoot that we wanted this to be black and white, but I could not have imagined the images to have turned out so well. Although I usually do quite a lot of Photoshop editing on my images, this series required almost none - it has an atmosphere which I just adore.
This is just one of the many TFP (free) collaborations I enjoy doing with talented individuals. I think it's pretty special when several people come together to make art just because they love to do it.
