AUTHOR
The camera is the vehicle I use to explore subjects vital to me. As a photographer concentrating in portraiture, I strive to capture connection and emotion in my images. When working with students I share the power of expressing their voices through their images. As an adjunct photography instructor, I teach a variety of techniques including analog, digital and alternative processes. With a child adopted from Colombia, I have long been interested in the Latino immigrant experience. I want my work to provide a greater understanding of a multicultural world.
