Wildlife: Honorable Mention 2019 (professional)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The Art of the Prowl illustrates the practice that goes into a young cub's journey to perfect the predatory moves that Lions enlist when stalking their prey. I found early morning the ideal time to observe cubs as they learn their role as predators through revelry and implementation. In this image I was his target as he balanced perfectly on the low lying branches above me and conjured up his best prowl for my camera. He will one day be a magnificent hunter within his territory.
