Conceptual: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Peter Hinz and Georgia Begbie recently started experimenting with the art of photography, seeking methods of silent communication trough the power of a still moment.
The project ´headless stone´ is set amidst the rocky coastline of northern Sardinia. Inspired by its moonlike landscapes and smooth shaped granite rocks we began to search for ways in which we could complement the structure of the stone by placing the human body in the empty spaces.
As a human species we have excluded ourself from nature by naming it. With ´headless stone´ we search for a silent dialogue with nature to rekindle our connection with it.
