ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A story was told to us that this abandoned bridge, off the coast of Morotai, Indonesia, was once built by the Japanese soldiers during World War II as part of their supply chain, this island was used as a staging area too.
As I was capturing it with long exposure, I had time to do a research for a quote that suited for this bridge: "If watching a bridge is much more exciting than crossing that bridge, then you can be sure that it is a beautiful bridge" by Mehmet Murat ildan.
AUTHOR
I considered myself an amateur photographer who delights in discoveries of the greatness and beauty of this world.
I was a military pilot for 25 years before joining the airlines since 2007. I love travelling; love nature especially beautiful landscapes. But it was not until 2015 that I became serious with photography. It all started when my wife showing me a beautiful sunbird's chick she took using her compact camera.
There was no turned back thereafter. We started with long tele-photo lenses for bird photography to landscape and most recently, exploring into the beauty of Black and White.
It is my hope that many people will get to see the beauty of this wonderful creation through my lenses.
