Fine Art: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
Shipwreck by Siew Min Lai (Singapore)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
It was in March this year, just before our circuit breaker (equivalent to a lockdown) when we visited Ternate and Morotai for a B&W photo trip. That was the first time I have seen a shipwreck. A story was told to me that it was a World War II ship that sunk off the coast of Morotai Island, Indonesia. Incidentally this island was a staging ground for the supply chain by the Japanese Soldiers. This shipwreck stands still half submerged to tell a story.
