ENTRY DESCRIPTION
I was travelling along a road on the Snaefellsnes Peninsular, Iceland, in March this year (2020) and was struck by the shaft of light in the distance. It was a featureless terrain and yet I felt enormous scale and majesty at the same time. A kind of dramatic nothingness!

AUTHOR
I'm a keen amateur photographer with a passion for minimalist images. This kind of photography allows me to create and quite frankly escape a little bit from 'reality.' I live in rural North Wiltshire in the UK but through my job I have the opportunity to travel far and wide. I particularly like seascapes but dabble in all kinds of landscape. Currently use Fuji GFX kit.
