Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
in January 2020, bushfires ravaged through the Blue Mountains near Sydney. When Bell Line Rd opened up, I had drove through the bushfires area. This image was taken two weeks after the fire went through the area. All that was in the bushland areas was silence, ash, the sounds of my footsteps and definitely no signs of any living species. The trees reminds of souls still standing and surviving...just.
