Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
The photograph of the Matterhorn mountain was taken from Zermatt / Switzerland just after a severe snow storm. The weather was clearing up and high winds were slowly clearing up the mountain. With the long exposure, the clouds created this mysterious mood around the mountain.
AUTHOR
Cédric Tamani is a 47 years old self-taught photographer from Switzerland, married and father of a daughter.
His passion for photography started in 2002 with wildlife photography in the African bush. These animals in their natural environment create still deep emotions.
Presently he extends his technical and composition skills in landscape and architecture photography.
He plans his photography expeditions accurately. But on location he tries to be as flexible as possible, because weather, people or wildlife are often unpredictable. Cédric edits his photographs to enhance the contrasts, the brilliance and to soften some selected areas.
