Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This is glacial melted water flowing towards the sea in South Iceland shot from a helicopter. The water flow struggles to find paths across vast areas of black volcanic ash, sand and lava rocks that result in these unique and intricate patterns when seen from the air.
AUTHOR
I am a landscape photographer living in Adelaide in South Australia. Since retiring a few years ago from full-time work, my interest in photography has moved from aspiring amateur to something a little more serious. While landscapes are my main focus I have an increasing interest in travel, architecture, portrait, macro and wildlife photography.
