Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
Long exposure in front of the mount Taranaki, New Zealand. It was a cold night but, as soon as I saw some clouds coming in my direction, I decided to capture the motion of them, mixed with the stars. Only at the end of the exposure I realized that the RAW file was quite dark and unfortunately has some noise. I could not take another shot because in few minutes the clouds covered the montain completely and I had to go back to my tent, waiting for the sunrise.
AUTHOR
I was born in 1990 in Italy (Mondovi', Piemont) and I moved to Switzerland (Lugano) in 2015 for working reasons. Since when I relocated, my personality changed and I started to travel around every weekend, eager to discover this new Country in which I landed. I immediately felt the internal desire to take picture of every new place I was exploring and I started doing it with my mobile phone. So, one year later, I decided to give me a Christmas present: my first reflex camera. Since then, this desire became a passion...And now has become almost an obsession. Today I am still working and living in Switzerland, but in the Canton of Zug. It is an amazing and central place, perfect for people like me, who loves nature, mountains and adventures...Of course to be lived along with the camera!
