Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
This image is from the state of Meghalaya in India, shot in 2019. I reached the spot just before sunrise to capture these misty layered hills and as the sunlight slowly got stronger, the cloud bed started gliding away silently as they were tucked in the folds of the trees and little cottages. The industry nestled between the towering pines started showing up with the rising sun, the wave like movement of the clouds and the birds flying in the vicinity from tress to trees, altogether looked so beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better frame and more drama that morning.
