ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A tiny little human at the right top edge of the dunes shows the scale of this vast expanse of sand dunes in the desert of Wahiba Sands, Oman. A storm is moving in and the dark clouds add drama to the scene. Light filtering through openings in the clouds illuminates the top of the dunes and emphasizes their curves.

Hilda Champion is a German/American fine art photographer living in Naples, Florida.

Her love for traveling has taken her all over the globe providing ample opportunities to experience different cultures, appreciate the arts, and train the eye to the marvels of this world.
She prefers to work with available light as opposed to adding artificial light and, consequently, is more of an outdoor photographer rather than indoor.

Hilda shows her work globally in exhibitions and competitions and has received numerous international awards and accolades. She sells her work in very small limited editions, in custom sizes and finishes, but also offers media licenses and finished artwork for lease.
