Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A foggy morning at tunnel view in Yosemite NP, I switch to my telephoto lens to zoom in on the fog moving around the base of Bridalveil Falls.
AUTHOR
My name is Garry Everett and I am a landscape/wildlife photographer currently living in West Sacramento. Photography allows me the opportunity to slow down and appreciate the remarkable world we live in and provides a sense of escape from the plugged in modern and hectic lifestyle we live today. I particularly find sunrise a very peaceful time of the day, witnessing nature’s diversity as the new day begins, often only with my own thoughts, is a routine that never gets old. It has become a passion through photography to capture and share this peaceful beauty and the sense of awe I experience while trying to create that single unique moment in time. My hope is that you will be inspired to go out and explore this amazing planet we live on.
