Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
A pair of wild geese take off on a river, and the trees in the fog are jagged and faint, orderly in depth, much like a traditional Chinese ink painting.
AUTHOR
Helena is a 10th student of Princeton School of Mathematics and Science. She studied vocal music when 9 years old. Her current vocal teacher is Prof. Karen Beardsley. Helena likes to play piano and violin. Also, she is a gifted badminton player, her ranking of National Junior is top 20.
Helena also loves photography. She took a lot of landscape photos in New Jersey where she lives. She has won many awards in the monthly photo contest of "Hanxin" magazine. Fog is often used as the background in her works, and birds or people are the themes, reflecting a hazy beauty and a touch of sadness.
