Landscapes: Honorable Mention 2020 (amateur)
The sinking forest by Yuta Morii
ENTRY DESCRIPTION
In 2014, a huge dam was built in Hokkaido, Japan. My favorite forest had been sinking day by day. Trees put their branches with fresh green leaves up from under the lake to the air. I could also see alive plants under the shallow water. Vast amount of tiny little lives must be killed by our dreamy grand dam. I just cried thinking of them from the shiny cold bridge.
